Brand Awareness Campaigns
Are brand campaigns part of your digital marketing campaigns? It doesn’t matter if you’re an established or new brand, running brand awareness campaigns are necessary.
Most think there is no need for awareness campaigns for some reason and come up with excuses reasons like; if someone has the intent of searching for me they’ll find my organic listing, if someone is researching a product or service I offer, they’ll eventually discover me.
Not so hot take: they probably won’t. Even if they do, is your messaging compelling and relative?
As you are sitting reading this blog and relishing this information, your competitors are executing campaigns and leveraging the online real estate you’re allowing them to take. These are leads are highly ready to engage and actively looking for a solution you can provide for them.
Not running brand awareness campaigns won’t get them in your lead funnel and into your competitors. You’re allowing an additional advantage for your competition to earn the business of someone looking to engage. A person looking for a product or service generally starts their research with an online search (yes, they will “Google it”).
Beyond running brand campaigns with digital marketing, your online profiles and accessibility need to be reviewed frequently. A quick list of tasks to ensure your online brand is current, make sure your:
business listings (especially on Google My Business) are current including your physical address, phone number, logo, and website
website is up to date and has relevant information on the home page, including a clear and obvious way to contact you
business listings and website clearly describe the services you offer and the location of the market you serve
The captain obvious notes about digital brand awareness campaigns: If you don’t appear anywhere during their research you basically don’t exist.
Make sure you exist.
